In addition to the headquarters in Meulebeke regional offices in Kortjk, Gent, Brussels, and Antwerp are established.
1992
Matexi undergoes a reorganization of regional offices with the new structure enabling the company to operate in the entire area of the country.
1997
Matexi sets great store by the rationality of the projects executed by the company. A Working Group for Urban Development is formed, employing professionals in various areas of expertise. This ensures efficient use of building land and superior designs of housing structures.
2000
Matexi acquires Wilma, a company active in large-scope construction works, such as city estates of mixed, residential and business, purpose. Matexi completes major projects in public-private partnership sector.
2009
Further development of the regional structures: following Limburg (2007), new offices are opened in Brussels and the Waals-Brabant province, and in subsequent years also in the Liege-Luxembourg and Namur-Hainaut regions, as well as in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and in Poland.
1945
Three Van de Vyvere brothers establish Matexi - Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Immobilien (Real Estate Management Company).
1979
Matexi invests in Sibomat – manufacturer of wooden construction frameworks.
1994
The Tradiplan subsidiary engages in construction of villas and luxury homes.
1998
Matexi initiates an enterprise named habitus(r), offering ready to occupy private flats constructed on principles of intelligent housing design.
2005
Matexi headquarters are moved to Waregem.
2012
All companies of the Group are rebranded to Matexi brand with the exception of Sibomat, which – due to the specific nature of the wooden construction framework market – continues to operate as a separate entitiy.
